Mountain Biking Trails Near Enoch

We are so blessed to live in an area that has so many mountain biking areas that are so close to both Enoch and Cedar City! Each mountain biking trail is unique and offers scenery ranging from green fields to red rocks to juniper trees and more! In this blog, we compiled some of our very favorite mountain biking trails near Enoch. 

Southview Trailhead

The Southview Trailhead is in the mountains right by Cedar City and this is a favorite trail for families. The trail system is over twenty miles long and the difficulty is beginner, intermediate, and advanced. This trail provides amazing views of Cedar City and the surrounding mountains. 

Thor’s Hideout, Thunderbird Gardens

Even though this trail is only 3.4 miles, it is a perfect trail for experienced mountain bikers who are looking for a fun challenge. Once you ride for 1.5 miles, you will get to a fork in the road where you can turn back and loop around at mile 1.7 or you can head to Highway 14. If you decide to head towards Highway 14, you can choose to ride the Red Mountain trail or the Coal Creek bike trail. For more information about these trails, check out this website. 

Three Peaks Bike Trails

The Three Peaks Recreation Area is close to Enoch and it not only offers mountain biking trails, but it also has areas for disc golf, OHV and ATV riding, camping, and much more! Three Peaks Recreation area offers a 19 mile mountain bike trail system and has trails that vary in distance (from .77 miles to 5.76 miles) and expertise level (from beginner to difficult). Spend the day at Three Peaks mountain biking on trails like the Three Peaks Loop, the Big Hole Loop, the Race Course Loop, the Practice Loop and more! 

Coal Creek Trail

The Coal Creek trail is a 3.3 mile trail and it begins at Bicentennial Park and ends at the mouth of Cedar Canyon. The difficulty of this trail is beginner, so it is a perfect mountain bike trail for families. Plus, there are benches and drinking fountains along the trail!
